Al estilo de la cestas de toda la vida, aunque un poco a “salto de mata”, aparece esta versión muy mejorable.
Se ha quedado pequeña para el uso inicial que le quería dar (cesta para la ropa sucia) pero voy entendiendo el trenzado, cómo se comporta el fleje en estas nuevas direcciones y cómo las bolsas esponjan el tejido!!

El concepto de Big Bambú tiene que ver con la evolución continua de los seres vivos. De esta manera, se cultivaron y cortaron más de 2.000 brotes frescos de bambú en una granja en Francia para lograr su objetivo: “Big Bambú siempre está creciendo, cambiando y convirtiéndose en algo nuevo – como todos nosotros”.
La idea de desordenar el bambú a lo bestia, genera una maraña entretejida, que estructural-mente funciona muy bien, se convierte en un objeto anisó-tropo, parece más un juego para escalar que una estructura donde simplemente estar!
Este pabellón de la oficina nARCHITECTS, se completó en mayo de 2011 y permite la reunión y celebración bajo sombra de los visitantes del Bosque y Parque Ecológico Da Nong Da Fu, en la provincia de Hualien, en Taiwán. El proyecto fue concebido en el contexto de un festival de arte organizado por la Oficina de Silvicultura de Taiwan, para aumentar la conciencia pública del bosque, en un plan del gobierno por lograr un futuro sustentable y reducir la emisión de carbono.

a pesar de la sencillez de la estructura y la ausencia de ese bosque, la estructura genera un ambiente ligero, la estructura sencillamente parece que se vaya echar a volar!

searching for something to celebrate the arrival of spring, hungarian architecture uncomfortable workshop have developed ‘spring wind’. for the occasion, the collective conceived a standing structure that responds to the movement of the wind - highlighting the natural effects of a sheltered environment. the concept integrates a wooden frame as the structure - with an open-ended textile cover, which reacts to the different intensities of the elements - forming into different organic shapes as the wind interacts with the envelope of the piece.

Tyree Callahan is an interesting landscape painter from Bisbee, Arizona that focuses his time studying beautiful scenes with oils. Tyree does an outstanding job replicating the images from real life, making them so vivid to the point of near abstract. Mr. Callahan is a pure genius, reinventing this 1937 Underwood Standard Typewriter. Tweaking it to his exact liking, replacing the ink with paint swatches. Inspired by a pinhole workshop taught by Justin Quinnell, Matt Bigwood made these 6-month-long exposures using a beer can pinhole camera.
You can see his setup above which entailed placing 5”x7” photo paper inside the can and taping it to a pole with gaffer tape.
The curve you see is the sun’s path across the sky as distorted by the curve of the can.
